1 What are global design settings?

  • Global design settings are settings that are applicable to all design versions of a design project.

2 Overview of the global design settings

  • Designer settings
    Here you can edit default field settings for date and time.
  • Medical coding
    Here you can create coding scopes for medical coding. Click here for more information.

    Here you can manage the reference data scopes. This is for reference data only. Click here for more information.

3 Publishing global design settings

  • If you add or edit any of the global design settings, you need to publish the global design settings to make them available for the study in Viedoc.
  • Note! A global design setting does not have to be assigned in Admin. It is automatically assigned to all sites upon publishing.
